Pink Tank Creative is a boutique design studio lead by me, Frank Thiruchelvam.
In case you were wondering :
Thiru - (like Louis 'Theroux') / chel (like cello, not shell) / vam (like gum, not wham)
It's a Sri Lankan surname. It takes me ages to fill in forms.
Since moving to London from Sydney in 2013, I've freelanced with TBWA\Tequila, Brave, Juice Design, Ogilvy Commonhealth and
Arc Worldwide / Leo Burnett, working on clients such as Cadburys, Jeep, Kenco, Flash, Morrisons, Warburtons and Lindt.
In 2014, I left the freelance circuit for a permanent role at advertising agency mcgarrybowen, London. As part of a small design department,
I am the design lead on Western Union and work on a client list which includes Honda, Acura, Bridgestone, Mizkan, Monster, Branston, Adidas — as well as a number of internal projects and pitches.
Together with my designer wife Shruti, we have worked on a number of freelance projects under the name Pink Tank Creative since 2003.
In 2015 we produced our greatest piece of work, our baby boy, Kiran.
I bake. I love fancy dress. I do a decent Biggie Smalls impersonation.
